About Me
Originally from upstate New York, I have lived in many places across the United States and the globe, including Florida, Arizona, Australia, Thailand, and Ireland. I have been lucky to experience and be welcomed into a variety of cultures and communities, learning the joy and importance of being presented with perspectives other than my own.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my dogs, Reese and Archie, whether the activity is hiking or binge-watching Friends for the 100th time. Reese is a therapy dog-in-training and will occasionally join me for in person sessions!
My Approach
I believe that in order to make significant and sustainable change, you must give yourself permission to make mistakes. I think it’s important to have a sense of humor and be willing and able to give yourself some grace on your therapeutic journey. Growth is not linear. Slip ups and backslides will happen, and that’s okay. If you expect to be perfect 100% of the time, you are guaranteed to be disappointed in yourself. For lasting change to occur, you must allow yourself the freedom to be human.
